1. I swear I featured a similar design for another month somewhere on the blog but this caught my eye for April so here it is!
2. I know this is a really old design (the year gives it away!) but obviously it can still be used. I love the little flowers in this. It is a novel idea to pop them in a bottle.
3. Isn’t he just adorable! Look at that little half smile. Soooo cute! This looks to be made with watercolour. Love it!Â
4. I remember when bees just seemed to be everywhere. I don’t mean the actual bees, I mean within the world of design and decor. I even did a notebook with bees on. I love the way the artist has made the word “bee” part of the illustration.
5. I love the colours in this design. It looks like it is created with watercolours. The hot air balloons add the finishing touch. How I long to go up in one again!
6. Easter is on its way. This is a lovely detailed basket and the bunny is adorable too! I like the way the artist has done the detail for the dot on the “i”. Â
7. This is a simple design for those that like a minimalist style. I like the doodle with its bit of shading. The border finishes the design off.
8. I don’t know about the rest of the world, but here in the UK, April means rain. More often referred to as the April Showers. I love the umbrella as since a child I always wanted a rainbow coloured one!Â
9. At first glance this is a simple design but when you properly look at it you can see the detail in the painting. I love the use of colour here.
10. I love the added touch of colour but most of all I love the little bird! It makes me think of my daughter when she was little and would come in with flowers from the garden. If you want something minimal but still with a hint of colour, this is perfect.
11. This design is leaves and gems. I hadn’t noticed at first the hint of purple in the circle. I confess I’d be tempted to colour in the gems but that’s just how I am. I can never stick to just black and white!Â
12. I love the sleeping cat in this design. It didn’t jump out at me until I was writing this bit of blurb. Such a cute finishing touch to a spring like design.Â
13. I spent my teens in the 90’s and this design conjures up all sorts of memories for me. It is simple and I love it so much because of the nostalgia.
14. This snail is so cute and happy! I’m always drawn to designs with cute creatures on. The colouring on the shell is also lovely.Â
15. April is more often than not about Easter. This is a lovely colourful Easter themed cover design. Very pretty!
16. Have you read the quote? Isn’t it wonderful? Very wise words. Lovely design.
17. Origami has come up before in a mood tracker that I featured in an article (click here to view). It symbolizes honor, good fortune, loyalty, and longevity.Â
18. Blossom is something I look forward to every year. It is such a beautiful sight. This is such a lovely design.
19. Spring is here and this means finally seeing some colourful flowers again! This design would look great in any colour but personally I love the deep purple used in this one.
20. Another design from this artist. This is quite a unique idea having the planets hanging from the fingers. I certainly couldn’t draw the hand though. Very talented.
21. This minimalist design has me amazed because that “A” is so perfect!!!! I love how bold it is.
22. I see this style of design (hanging plants) a lot but it is still one that I love. It’s a lovely shade of green also, not bright like most people go for.
23. This is a simple doodle but is still affective. It also looks like something that I could actually comfortably do. The little flowers are so cute.
24. these butterflies are magnificent. I also like the splash of colour behind them. It is a simple touch but really finishes it off.
25. Who doesn’t love pizza? Well, not everyone I guess. However, I love it. At least we don’t have to have the pineapple debate on this design!
26. This design I guess is more aimed at the person who has a birthday in April. Maybe you have one of those families where loads of people are born in April? Either way, it is a fun design.
27. At some point each month I finally come across a dutch door design and here is this months! The detail in these leaves is stunning. It compliments the simplicity of the calendar. The quote “hello sunshine” is just what I hope to be saying soon.
28. Did you spot the little bunny? As you know, I’m a sucker for all things cute in designs. IÂ have my eye on the stickers too…
29. Wow! Just wow! I could never in a million years do this design. I love how detailed it is and how imaginative. Just wow!
30. Another amazing piece of art work. The shading, the colouring, the lighting! I hadn’t even noticed the molecules in the background at first.Â
31. I’m not joking when I say that now I’ve seen this design I am craving a doughnut. Sigh.
